2BR02B
2BR02B was based on a short story by one of my favorite authors, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
After discussing different options with the director and actors, we decided to shoot the entire waiting room scene in a single day. We also committed to the idea of allowing the actors to move freely in the room and move the camera to follow them, which meant finding a way to light the room from 360 degree shooting. The ceiling was rigged with 4' LED fixtures that provided a soft, even overhead light throughout the room, which was supplemented by an additional LED that was placed below the camera in each position for fill.
2BR02B was an official selection at the Hoboken International Film Festival and the Orlando Film Festival.
